A Many- Splendored Mandible article

I found this article to be quite fascinating. Its about how trap jaw ants can use their jaws to propel them up and away. It just goes to show you that scientists are discovering new things every day, and that there is still a lot more to be found. In the video of the ant jumping, it shows the ant being able to leap over 9 cm in distance. Its a good thing that we have these standardized units of measure. It helps out in letting me know exactly how far the ant would jump if it were sitting right in front of me.
